Missed Called Alerts(MCA)



The MCA helps subscribers to get alerts for their missed calls. The alerts are meant for the not reachable condition. The IIST's MCA supports revenue-generating messaging services with short message services (SMS) mobile phone owners use their digital handsets to receive Missed Call Alerts of up to 160 characters in GSM networks. The alerts will be composed and sent to the subscriber in regular intervals. The MCA composes messages using the ISUP from host switch and delivers the messages to the GSM PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) via a MAP interface, which is a part of the SS7 protocol
